Bisley House Bar and Grill

What a nice surprise to find this place within a few minutes walk of our cottage. Warm friendly atmosphere on a cold January night, good beer, GREAT burgers and top notch staff! Another great experience on our trip to Stroud from the US. Warm regards!

We went in on a Saturday and it had already been a busy night but the service & food was brilliant.They don't have starters on the menu so we requested some Sides to be served as starters which they did. They were great & set us up ready for the mains. Pork belly bites were melt in the mouth, chicken bites with the gravy mayo was lovely and fresh & the Jalapeno poppers were banging!The burgers were superb! Dont your time adding any sauces to the burgers until you have tried them how they are served first! The flavours were amazing and it definitely didn't need any additional sauces.5 start food & 5 start service! Looking forward to my next visit, maybe try out the steak specials

This restaurant is located a 10 minute walk from Stroud town centre in a quiet residential neighbourhood. It has a small seating area at the front, and a rear garden. Inside, there is a dining tables as well as a bar, and a fire in the winter. The food is mainly burger based, with beef, chicken, pork and vegetarian options. The burgers are all large and delicious. The Welsh Cow (beef burger with rarebit) is particularly good. The only potential improvement would be for the fries toppings to be dusted all over the fries rather than a topping. The staff are polite and friendly.

Myself and my family came to Bisley house for my birthday dinner and it was amazing! Food was delicious and so filling, the pork belly bites and Mac n cheese balls were the favourites! Such a lovely atmosphere too, the waiters are attentive and friendly which is always an added bonus. We will definitely be back

Dont sleep on this....go, go, go.We popped in on our way home on a Monday evening, myself, husband and 2 children.I'm very impressed with the burger (Bwtch), my husband loved his burger (Mexican) and the 2 kids meals we're a decent size.We ordered some sides and they were very generous portions - truffle fries, buttermilk wings (delicious), jalenpeno poppers and onion rings....and no we absolutely didn't need all of this, they were quick to offer to-go boxes!The staff were very friendly and welcoming.When paying they were very quick to point out that we could skip the tip section, there was no pressure at all, we insisted as I like to tip when the service & food is GOOD!We were very impressed!! We will be back and recommending.

The perfectly charred burgers at Bisley House Bar and Grill are a triumph of simple flavors executed flawlessly. Their juicy patties on a toasted brioche bun, topped with melted aged cheddar, crisp lettuce, and a special house sauce that adds just the right tangy kick. Each bite delivers that ideal meat-to-bun ratio. Served with truffle fries, its comfort food elevated to gourmet status.

Had a lovely family meal here, nice and friendly staff . Very clean plenty of seating and a good choice of drinks.

We literally have nothing bad to say about any of it! All the staff, especially Carly, were so friendly and I will definitely be back! Would definitely recommend the pork belly bites as a side but I couldn’t choose a favourite burger so just try them all
